Getting Dressed

Harry decides what he wants to wear. He can almost dress himself.

Nice day for a walk

Mummy had the day of work & so she took me on a big long walk in the pram! She pushed me all the way to the commons beach in donaghadee! Once there I got out for a walk too. I loved having some play time in the park. Once I got tired it was time for mummy to put me back in my pram & push me all the way home again. I got to have a little snack & some juice on the way too!! On the way back home we stopped at the butchers & bought some stuffed pork chops for daddy's tea. They tasted yummy ! X

Nursery continues

Dad had a worse day than Harry today. Harry wasn't too happy going to nursery and wanted Dad to stay. Dad was a little sad leaving but the nursery staff were very good and distracted him and he settled very quickly to have a great day including a long nap and eating all his food. When Dad collected him he was glad to see Harry was happy. Meeting Dads friend Graeme and his son Joshua they decided to go to Mauds for ice cream. Everyone likes ice cream and with the summer coming this could be the first of many.

 

The defences are broken

Tonight the usual bedtime routine had a twist. Put Harry to bed and went downstairs to the bathroom. Dad said to Mum, our wee boy is growing up and the stair gates wont last forever. Daddy tempted fate. Surprised when we heard a voice. Hi mummy.  Shock. Was Dad loosing it. Did he close the stair gates. Yes he did but this video shows what happened next.

Day with Dad

Dad and Harry had a good Sunday together. Some jigsaw time balance bike fun, grass cutting and sandpit as well as fun with Oma and Grandad. Harry ate all his dinner and Dad took him for a walk to hightrees for a lolly.

First day at nusery

On 17th March Harry had his first full day at nusery. He really enjoyed it and the feedback was he was very good. Takes everything in his stride.

Day with Dad

Mum has started working day shifts so Dad took the day off with Harry as he has not started nursery yet. Day started with Harry wearing his new shoes and watching Postman Pat, his new favourite cartoon.  Weetabix and banana on toasted bagel for breakfast. After making lots of jigsaws Dad and Harry went to Bangor Aurora leisure centre and into the soft play area. It was great fun and Dad really enjoyed it too. After playtime it was time for lunch and a coffee for Dad while watching the swimmers. Harry had a nap on the way home. After naptime it was back to Ards to pick up Oma and Grandad and go to the shopping centre. Harry had some more playtime in the soft play area while Oma went shopping. Then back to Donaghadee for pizza dinner with Oma and Grandad. Then dropped them home and back for a bath and bed. Dad really enjoyed the day. Harry and Dad even had time for a bit of singing before bedtime.

Snow!

Well on Monday morning 2nd March 2015 we woke up and discovered it had been snowing!! I really wanted to go outside & play, so mummy wrapped me up warm & I got to play in the back garden! I used the deck brush to sweep up the snow (& to clean the windows!) I got to throw some snowballs & run through the grass. Then it was time to come in because it was very cold! There wasn't quite enough snow to be able to build a snowman :) x

Weekend fun

Harry had a different weekend. Dad was sick with bad cold and was just starting to get better on Saturday so he didn't play football and spent the day with Harry. Dad went out to watch Carl Frampton defend his world title at the Odyssey and Harry stayed with Nanna and Grandad (Frampton won in 5 rounds). On Sunday Dad played with Harry and they went for a walk to Hightrees with Hanna, Zoe and Alister. Sunday ended with a trip to Oma and Grandad for a chippie.
