Dad and Harry took a trip to Omas house to try and carve a Turnip. Before Pumpkins were on the scene, turnips were used for lanterns. Dad was sure that turnips were larger back in his childhood. Harry helped cutting and gouging out the inside but Dad took the sharp knife for the fine carving. Turned out well. One lesson, always remember to put a few holes in the lid :-)

Cramped
For the last 2 weeks we have all been living in one room in the house, while builders are knocking down walls. It was all a bit cramped in Dads man cave. Harry decided it was time to get his toys out and bring them in too. Mum was very impressed. Not much to clean up.

Lovely evening
Its the start of October but the weather is a lot better than summer.
After nursery Dad took Harry for mauds ice cream with Graeme and Joshua. Mint choc chip is Harrys favourite.
Because it was such a good night Dad took Harry to the commons and Harry drove the jeep round the car park. Then rode his balance bike to the play park. Harry showed Dad how to climb, walk on balance beams and walk across the bridge. It was great fun.
