Harrys 2nd Birthday

Harry turned 2 this year and Mum and Dad had a birthday planned for him at home.  The 4th July 2014 was a Friday so Mum, Dad and Harry went out for the day and Dad treated everyone to a birthday lunch in Frankie and Bennys at Bloomfields.  On Saturday everyone came down to the new house in Donaghadee for Harrys birthday party.  Unfortunately Uncle Mark and Oma could not make the day as they were in London to welcome Nicole back home.

Dad completes Half Marathon

On Friday 27th June 2014 - Dad ran in the annual Newtownards Half Marathon event.  Harry and Mum and a lot of the family came out to watch Dad run round the course.  Dad was very pleased to reach the end and completed the course in 2 hours and 5 minutes.  He also raised £395 pounds for the MS Society.

Happy before the race.

Harry, Ricky and Mum were at the start line to watch.

And we are off.

Only 13 miles to go.

Everyone drove round to the 9/10 mile marker and waited for Dad to get round.

Here comes Dad still going strong.

Feels like the finish for Dad seeing everyone there but time to push on, not long left.

Harry watches Dad head off on the final stretch.

Dad pushed hard on the final few miles to try and improve his finish time.

Dad crosses the finish line and is knackered. 2 hours 5 mins and very sore legs.

Saturday morning in Donaghadee

Harry and Dad had a nice Saturday morning in Donaghadee. It started with a walk to the local shops. Dad walked and Harry traveled in style on his bike. Then we got back home and took the car to town and walked to the lighthouse and then to the playground. It was a lovely still and warm morning. Harry and Dad had fun.
