Another early start for the boat trip across and the weather was again very good and made for a smooth sailing. Harry gets so excited about the sailing that he just doesn't want to sleep and miss anything.
It was nice and warm outside so Mum, Dad and Harry enjoyed sitting out in the sun.
We stay stayed with Auntie Debbie for the first 2 nights this time and made the longest drive of the trip the first one. Staying with Debbie is great because she looks after us really well and makes sure we get to see all the sights. This time our first stop was to take a trip to South Queensferry. Mum drove over the Forth Bridge, it's a big bridge and goes up really high. South Queensferry is a pretty town and sits on the shore in the shadow of the two Forth Bridges. We took a look about and had time to stop for a drink and a little bite to eat.
Harry wakes up and is ready for an adventure
The suspension Forth bridge is the road bridge
This is the rail bridge. Until recently this bridge had to be painted regularly. When the painters reached one end they would have to turn and start all over again. Now it has a special paint that lasts longer.
Harry ducks to get his picture taken with Debbie and Mum.
Harry misses out this time.
Now this is better.
Looking good.
Mum and copilot Debbie.
Dad couldn't stop taking pictures.
Back in Debbies house we enjoyed dinner and Harry had some playtime with Harvey the rabbit. Harry and Harvey had lots of fun. Harry even decided to see what it was like in Harveys hutch. We also enjoyed a big thunder and lighting storm from the comfort of Debbies kitchen.
'Harvey are you coming out or am I coming in'.
Harry climbed in to see where Harvey was.
The next day started well with a bit of shopping and time for a milkshake before heading into Edinburgh for a walk through the main part of the city including princess street and we stopped at a nice Italian restaurant for lunch. Harry had Spaghetti Bolognese and loved it. With the walk and shopping over we went for a drive and stopped at Krispy Kreme and stocked up on some tasty doughnuts and then back to Debbies house.
Its the Castle.

Mum shows Harry some drawing skills why we wait for lunch.
Harry loves ice-cream.
More Harry and Harvey time.
Harvey is a very relaxed bunny.
The next day we made a visit to Deep Sea World. That was lots of fun. We all saw sharks and lots for different fish. Harry spotted a toy car, he loves cars, so he had a bit of driving time but then didn't want to move on when his drive was over.
Harry watches the fish.

Harry and the car. He loves it but doesn't like having to get out after.
After Debbie made us a lovely leaving lunch it was time to say bye bye and drive to out next stop at Loch Lomond, Macdonald Forest Hills Spa Hotel in Aberfoyle. A lovely hotel set in perfect scenery and a great swimming pool. We checked in and then there was time for a swim before dinner and a nice sleep, the sound of heavy rain through the night made the stay very cosy. It was very close as Mum would say.
Great scenery so Dad gets the camera out.
In the Hotel room Harry discovers that he can reach the door hadles and open the door and is very pleased with himself.
Cheese.
The view from the room was excellent.
The next morning we had an early breakfast and a swim in the pool and time to stretch our legs before getting back in the car and drive on to our last stop, Fairfield House Hotel in Ayr. We have stayed there before and were looking forward to some more great food a swim in the pool and a play in the playground at the seafront.

On the drive back to the boat, Dad stops to take some more photos as the sun was out and the storms were chasing us.
Mum says she wants to stay here on the next trip to Scotland.
When we arrive at Girvan we he to see the stages of Harry waking up from his sleep in the car.

The trip was again over too quickly as we were all having so much fun but we had to go back and get the ferry home and the trip was over.
Big thanks to Debbie for looking after us for 2 nights. We will visit you again soon.
